A third of the way through this bowl of KBV B. Frog’s English Villain 2023 in a 2003 medium bent Ural meer with a lined and etched egg shaped bowl with a silver band and a pearl brown acrylic saddle stem. Working on the reviews.

Mail call! Tin note is very vinegary. Also, the shipping box must have been used a soccer ball as the crumble cake was fully crumbled. No biggie since you’re gonna do that anyway, but just a note. Not getting much flavor but it’s the first bowl and my palate is only two years old. I’ll keep at it. IMG_2441.jpeg

K&K Caribbean Blue Bellamy again this afternoon. This is my second bowl of it, halfway through and it's much better today than it was yesterday. Getting a lot more of the honeydew today, more separation of flavors coming out. The orange flavor to it is more like a candied orange? Not orange flavored candy, but specifically candied orange, or what I would imagine it to taste like (never had any before). I can also taste more of the VA and burley in it (unlike yesterday where I mostly just only could taste the flavoring).

Fresh Peterson Flake from a tin I just ordered last week. I wanted to compare it to the 2011 tins (Dunhill square tins) I have been through recently. I like whatever subtle flavoring agent they use on this and so fresh has its advantages over aged. Although the 2011 tins are smooth they were also a tad dry. Smokeable but some air had escaped those square tins over the years. Still, it's nice to know STG has kept this one consistent over the years. A constant in a sea of change all around us.

Pipe: a Stanwell made in Denmark sandblasted Canadian from the Danish Slow Smoking Championship. I would tell you what year it is but then I'd have to tip my ashes over onto my lap! (I think 1994?)
