I just got in from walking the dog with PS Lux Rolls in the recently acquired Civic, it has no number on it and I’m unsure of the date, probably 50’s or 60’s but this $10 pipe has to be one of my favourites in a very extensive collection. It’s light and has so far handled any tobacco I’ve packed with aplomb but especially burley’s, VaPers and anything with DFK. To me it shows how accessible this hobby is and that one needn’t spend a fortune on wood to get an excellent smoke. Of course there’s an element of luck involved but I think many of you will agree that instinct also plays a part when we choose a pipe. Anyhoo I just wanted to express my fondness for this particular one.

I’m in the mood for something sweet to celebrate the Lionesses 3-1 victory over Australia in the WWC that takes us to the final against Spain on Sunday 🥳🏆 I’m going to have some Jolly Old St Nick in this 1906 H&J meer with amber stem and silver shield on the base of the bowl. image.jpg

First smoke in this Tsuge Cat’s Eye 607 that I got for a rocking deal at SP. I’ve got some Wilke’s maple in it. The pipe is great in hand and clenched.

This is also my first time trying a 9mm filter (Vauen) and 1/4 into the bowl I’m not loving it. It’s smoking less hot but the draw is quite restricted and the flavor muted. So far I’m glad I only bought a 10 pack. I’ll use an adapter for my next smoke in this pipe.
