My favorite Virginia to age. With a few years on it, it’s really quite tasty. Not bad fresh either. I like that sweet tea quality to the aroma.

Did another set of walks, and am close to finishing this bowl of Mac Baren Scottish Mixture in a straight, smooth brown 1960s Lane era Charatan Special 38 bulldog with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Ice water and plenty of bergs is my drink. The 1924 Dunhill pot is cleaned. Now to decide what I should smoke in it.

Smoking SG Grousemoor in a cob. I’ve been thinking about this blend since trying it for the first time yesterday. It is so unique and unlike any other Lakeland I’ve tried. I’ll be putting away a few tins of this one.

I decided the pot should be dedicated to Virginias, so I'm a quarter of the way through a newly opened tin of year 2014 HU Sunset in a straight 1924 Dunhill’s “Shell Briar” patent pot 7 with a tapered black vulcanite stem. First time smoking this pipe, of course.
