Light lunch of sandwich with leftover roast lamb and hand-shredded cabbage, apple, carrot, celery and ginger coleslaw.

Currently puffing on this very blend - my first latakia. After a few months of mainly Virginias, cavendish, and burley—about 50/50 aromatic to non—this is going to take some getting used to. A few reviewers have used the word “sour” among others to describe this. It fits. Not particularly appealing in print or to my palate at the moment. Still, I don’t dislike it. It really is a fine smoke: easygoing , little to no bite, cool burn. I’ll have a few more tries in the weeks to come, then likely put it away for a while and come back when I’m in just the right mood. Cheers!
