Only managed a bowl of Eight State Burley today. Middle daughter graduated from Texas Tech and we've been running all over Texas in celebration. Another hectic day looming.

A third of the way through this bowl of Wilke No. 24 in a smooth straight brown 1949 Yello- Bole Century Model Lovat with a nickel band accent on the black vulcanite saddle stem.
@jewman22 I enjoyed it in my clay pipes; a re-enactor I met gave me some to smoke in my clay and then @condorlover1 sent me some from the USA. Don't think it's sold in the UK...

Finished work for the day, did a load of dishes, fed my cats and the feral cats, took out the trash, and enjoyed a big, tasty Jazz apple. I'm not far from finishing this bowl of D&R Windsail in a 2018 full bend smooth Peterson Sherlock Holmes Lestrade with a silver band and a black vulcanite saddle p-lip stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Last smoke of the day is Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a smooth straight brown circa WW2 Trapwell mountain laurel patent apple with a nickel band and a black tapered vulcanite stem. Reading and am still listening to the mid-1960s radio show Let's Talk to Lucy. This series is fascinating to me. Lucy brings out a lot of personal and public information about herself and her guests that you normally would never have heard. It's a side of Lucy that one wouldn't expect to hear.

One of my favorites, an early 1940’s “Streamliner”, unsmoked. Some type of hardwood, Maple I think. I have 3 of these Streamliners. I just dig the shape.
