Half way through this bowl of circa year 2000 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Helping m'lady with a project she's working on.

A quarter of the way through this bowl of year 2015 D&R A.B. Rimboche in an old favorite smooth dark brown 1977 Medley (GBD second) medium bend billiard with a flat underside with a black vulcanite saddle stem.

As an addendum to yesterday, I would never dream of smoking at the D-Day Memorial (not even Squadron Leader), but I did spend some time with Air Marshall Tedder, who is entitled to do as he pleases.

A third of the way through this bowl of Sutliff Walnut Match in an early smooth brown Radice Tiger Eye G medium bend bulldog with a bamboo-style carving on the shank with a two dot black acrylic stem.

This redcoat has made his clay pipe of Condor Ready Rubbed last 47 minutes (with relighting) before it finally burned down to the ash; no dottle and very little ash.
The clay bowl didn't get too hot to hold, just comfortably warm and the baccy must have just smouldered in between puffs.
I feel I've acquired legend status on the forums given the number of likes and replies; I feel I've earned the package I received from @simong now...
Going to celebrate by downing a clay pipe of Condor!
