@Ettrick puffer I've been walking the Monsal Trail in Derbyshire again today; I especially like walking through the tunnel as it gives a unique experience.@halfdan yes the end of the present Borders railway known historically as the Waverley Line lies five miles away. Most mornings I walk my dog along the disused track bed. Locally there is still talk of extending it all the way to Carlisle. Aye it’s all in the packing mate ?
Happy smokes

@virkia I enjoyed it in my clay; one of the Lace Wars re-enactors I met at Cromford Mill in 2019 gave me a pipeful of Holland House - he taught me to blow through the pipe every few puffs.A.D.P (Adolph David Posener) / AP over AP with marks for Birmingham 1902
