Finally got a chance to squeeze in a pipe. Instead of the usual, inspired by the Half and Half thread ... STG Half and Half, with a pinch of Cornell and Diehl Gentleman Caller.
I pulled out the pipe this combo ws made for, a Missouri Meerschaum Country Gentleman, with MM’s vulcanite freehand stem ...
... and into the time machine I step for a decade long past ...

Part way through this bowl of Sutliff Prince Andrew in a 1980s straight smooth Big Ben pot with a nickel band and a black vulcanite saddle stem. Time to do a set of walks.

Half way through this bowl of Wilke Lizzie Blood Virginia in a straight 1960s Lane era Charatan black with burgundy undertone sandblasted billiard 420 with a black vulcanite tapered stem.
