I love trying new blends, Kings Stride in a 2014 Castello G lovat
2019 GH&Co Black Cherry Twist in a Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation Dark Porter Churchwarden.
The very first pipe tobacco i bought. Mac Baren - Vanilla Chioce in a Peterson system standard 301.
C&D Kelly’s Coin in a Savinelli Noce 315 KS. The pipe is not the focus here. 
Esoterica Tilbury in a Stanwell Canadian. On my way to the P.O. with bills and a gift pkg from my wife to a friend. My list of errands keeps getting transplanted from one day to the next, with a few getting checked off while others get added. I'd better "pull up my socks," as the Brits say, that is, tend to business.
About a third of a bowl left of early 2000s Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style.

I forgot how quickly the sun works to dry out tobacco!!
Bella Vanilla. Almost all the way through the tin and still haven't figured out how to keep the bottom 1/2 from becoming a wet ball of mush in my pipe.

Early first pipe of the day, and it contains Newminster #400 (love this stuff). The pipe itself is a Radice Morta:

Did a set of walking reps, and smoked a bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in an undated straight brush etched black Molina apple with a nickel band and a tapered black vulcanite stem. Time for an off-diet lunch. 
Cult Blood Red Moon in a Country Gent. 85° F here in central FL. Something about fruity aromatics goes really well with warmer weather.

Broke in my new Savinelli Porto Cervo 122 bent pot last night with my favorite blend, Drew Estate Gatsby Luxury Flake. Excellent smoke, so I did it again today. Even better. One of those absolutely magical smokes, dried perfectly, packed perfectly...and I was super attentive on keeping my puffing speed low and slow. Two, perhaps three relights, and smoked it down to almost nothing. One of the best smokes I've ever had. Paired with a glass of Grifone Pinot Grigio ($5 at Trader Joe's!). Bliss. And the pipe smokes like a charm too. Super light, and the rustication makes it a pleasure to hold. This will probably end up being dedicated exclusively to VAs.
Bird report: California scrub-jay, Steller's jay, Red-tailed hawk, Dark-eyed junco, House finch, California towhee, California quail, White-breasted nuthatch, and Mountain chickadee.

It has been a busy few days. Smoking the dregs of a 2013 tin of FVF in my Rossi Piccolo.
Went to my local B &M tobacco store, bought a tin of C & D Nutty Irishman. I smoked it in my Tyrone 106 Peterson. I enjoyed the tobacco from the first light to the end. Very flavorful, smelled great. I really enjoyed this tobacco.
