Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and am half way through this bowl of Dan Tobacco The Mallard Flake Plus Perique in a straight smooth brown 2017 unbranded Upshall Canadian with a tapered black vulcanite stem. My suspicion that there's been a very stealthy new-to-me black with a white strip on the nose feral the last couple of months was confirmed a few minutes ago when I went out to feed Daisy the Feral Princess and Tomato the Brave. It ran away as always. I left some food for it by the side of the house, and hope it'll come back and eat.

Next up is this 1913 bent billiard nosewarmer with an amber stem

Bought as a beater pipe to hone my skills at cleaning estates
After reaming out the bowl and cleaning the airways, it looks OK apart from the button which was chewed up and mostly missing.
A softy bit and it is more than functional

Having some University Flake for my nightcap. I’m wondering what this would be like with some age. Anyone experience that?

I have an open tin of some 5 year old Uni Flake, which required re-hydration; but, is still good. It had been so long since I last smoked it, I can't accurately state if it was better when I first cracked the tin or 5 years later. One thing's sure, either way, it's a winner.

A change of pace today for my first smoke - Sail Natural (ivory) in a little AKB dublin.

Years ago, I smoked a lot of Sail, and my preferred smoke was Sail Regular (Yellow). When I revisited these 10 or 15 years ago, my tastes had change, and I much preferred the Ivory. When I heard that Ivory was being discontinued, I tracked down some, and bought 5 pouches. I just opened the last one, and it positively sings in this little meer. Wish I had some more.
