Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and was shocked to find that yesterday's off diet marathon did not put any weight on me! That, of course, is wonderful news for me. :) Anyway, I'm close to finishing this bowl of Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation Evening Flake in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson Ebony POTY 4AB No. 422/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Lavazza Classico, neat, is my drink.

First time smoking year 2016 Peter Stokkebye Luxury Navy Flake in a straight smooth terracotta 2014 Sherlock Holmes Baker Street bulldog with sterling silver band and a tapered black p-lip stem. This pipe was a generous, thoughtful present by a fellow pipe smoker on another forum. I admired the one he had as I always wanted this model as a smooth finish with a p-lip, and as of today, I have one.It was unsmoked until now. Just amazing!!!! :)

Going to gift one or more of my clays. Need to make sure I don't buy any more pipe baccy for a bit. I will smoke a clay when I go to the Pirate Mutiny and Lace Wars / Redcoats & Revolutionaries. Might get it lit from the blacksmith's forge again. Don't want to give anyone a pipe that's been in my mouth!
If I get given any pipe baccy at Nottingham I could save it for Nantwich 380 in January.
Do you think the Clay King will miss his clays and baccy?
I might get a tin of the Musketeer for any of the clay pipe era re-enactments; going to leave it sealed until the day of the event though; I think it's a shame to smoke a new clean white pipe!

Beautiful pipe! What a gift! I like p-lip stems.

Now having the last crumbles of a tin of 2017 Dunhill Nightcap in my Dr Grabow Regal bulldog. It lit especially easily and I’m having a tasty smoke.

I’m also trying out those Falcon-branded pipe cleaners, which are supposed to be extra thin. There’s definitely less cotton around them, but the wire actually seems to be a thicker gauge than my BJ Longs pipe cleaners. So they’re still a tight fit in a couple of my pipes with smaller draft holes. I’m sure they work great in Falcon pipes, though. puffy
