Off to work with a bowl of 2021 Watch City Simply VOriental in a straight smooth medium brown 1930s Wilshire 5 bulldog (Comoy’s second) made for John’s Pipe Shop in Los Angeles with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Listening to the Braves-Padres game.

My father's old gourd Calabash. Started cleaning this last year, and finally got around to taking it apart for proper full cleaning. With that completed, lanolin applied, bowl reseated,... The Aperitif shall be the first, long-anticipated smoke! In the meantime, had designed and printed up a stand for it. This was to be a sample/model, but hey, it works, weighted base and all!

Smoking a spill tray blend of many blends leftover from the afternoon and evening - Bengal Slices, Presbyterian, and even a bit of Sutliff Vanilla Cream aromatic that I got free at Muletown. Smoking it in a Cayuga Rhodesian and it's not bad. I can't stand to throw away tobacco. Drinking Red Rose iced tea.

Close to finishing this bowl of Watch City Original Crumb Cut in a 1950s-60s straight smooth brown Bertram 07 octagonal paneled billiard with a square shank and a tapered black vulcanite stem. Fed Daisy the Feral Princess and Tomato the Brave, who were waiting for me. Glad I didn't disappoint them. :)
