February 2023 GH&Co Bob’s Chocolate Flake in a Poul Winsløw Crown 300.

I bought an 8 oz bag to push the order $ up for free shipping on some stuff I ordered. And to see about the recent talk of how GH&Co blends aren’t as saucy…

I’ve got pounds stashed away, most for several years, and I won’t disturb them. This bag will just hang out on my desk, to be smoked whenever.

And FWIW, I am not noticing any lack of “sauce” in this blend whatsoever…

PS Cube Cut in my #1 cob. I filled it about 3/4 full of cubes, rubbed out a few to use as kindling on top, and then allowed it to dry a few hours before lighting, and had a really nice, tasty, well-behaved smoke. I'll definitely be doing it this way, or close to it, from now on.

There is a much longer story to it, but this pipe (the first cob I ever bought) had gotten really smelly as of late. Finally, after much sanding of old cake and application of alcohol, salt, pipe cleaners, and a shank brush, it is almost as neutral as I think I can get it. I have enough other pipes to smoke that I don't need this one to smoke well, but the fact that it resisted my first efforts really bothered me!
