As long as I can remember, I’ve collected odd junk from the 50s-70s. Not sure why I like the esthetic. I found this pipe ashtray that fits the description 😂 Some might call it “gaudy”, I love it! And it’s ceramic so it won’t crack and get burn marks like my old 60s cig ashtrays.

Did a second set of walking reps on this beautiful sunny day, and am close to finishing this bowl of year 2015 D&R A.B. Rimboche in an undated slight bend, smooth flame grain Wessex Standard egg with a brown accent on the black vulcanite saddle stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

This is a VaPer I really want to try! Has been quite price prohibitive when I come across it on tinbids or pipestud.com
I know whatcha mean, man. I remember when all Esoterica was easy to get. And when they became in short supply, the hoarders swooped in and helped fuel the problem we face. I'm lucky to have a decent supply of what I want.

Reliable and handsome pipe, I’m a sucker for long stem pipes, but with bling ring?? Hard for me to resist. The old petersons never pop up on the main estate sites where I look, but it’s on my list for sure. I’m just not interested in a new Peterson even though the new blasts are pretty cool!
Keep looking and if possible, expand where you look. I prefer the older ones although I'd love to have a B-42 and especially a first release Mark Twain. I share a birthday with Twain, although I was born much, much later. :)

Good day all! Started with an English lunch, namely GLP Westminster in a dedicated Upshall P Poker with long square shank and matching eighth-bent tapered stem. Found I couldn't wait to finish so that I could put fire to a tasty bowl of KBV Mature Fragrant Virginia in a Tilshead smooth billiard with long saddle stem. It seems that my English cravings are truly behind me, now.
