@Zero I enjoyed it in my clay pipes; I think Gawith tobacco is very well suited to clays. @simong says I should get some Cannon Plug for the Sealed Knot events as it's said to date back to the civil war era...

A beautiful day in the "Land of Enchantment" a big bowl of Penzance which is the last of a bag that was generously given to me by a generous member. in a Castello trademark 4k and my family's horses, the white is named Galaxy and is my oldest daughters and the brown is Pinto and belongs to the mother n law. We have 1 more named Padre but he's a bit old on not in such a hurry to eat my hair 😂. Oh and @PipeIT do i look younger or older today.View attachment 215214

This one goes out to @kitchnsink52 and all those dreaming of inexpensive pipes, don’t worry about it! ;)

Smoking in an inexpensive 1931-1967 BBB Wyteway Billiard 1931-1967 with a vulcanite stem, GLP Telegraph Hill.

The pipe probably sold originally, I’m guessing for $7 upwards, to maybe $20, as an estate pipe, maybe today for $60$-$70.

Remember: ‘Price doesn’t always equate to a better smoker’!

For all the newer pipe smokers that haven’t seen this article, be sure to read; ‘The Myth of Brand and Maker in Pipesmoking’, by Dr. Fred Hanna.

Be well everyone! ❤️

You said it brother. I have a lot of pipes and some really nice pieces from around the world, but I love my old Dr. Grabow's. Good solid blue collar pipes.
