First smoke in my last homemade from February:

https://pipesmagazine.com/Forums/threads/to-fill-or-not-to-fill-that’s-the-question.96252/

I smoked a lot of „University Flake“ at that time, and so the choice of tobacco was clear for this one. And it smokes as expected with airway drilled up to 4mm and a preformed ebonite mouthpiece. I filed and widened a V-slot from the bite down to 30mm into the stem. Smooth smoking.

Half way through this bowl of early 2000s Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Watching Mad Dog Russo.

Good day all! Started with Wilke Vermont Maple Cav in a Wilke smooth billiard pencil shank and pinch-waist tapered stem stem size 4. Turned out I wasn't up for a Cav aro for breakfast. Now putting fire to a palate-clearing bowl of GLP Six Pence in an Upshall sandblast Bulldog with smooth rim and hex shank with saddle stem size 4.

Did a set of walking reps on this cloudy, humid day, and am close to finishing this bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in an undated straight brush etched black Molina apple with a nickel band and a tapered black vulcanite stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Trying for the first time, Anomalous in a Bay Denmark apple with a cumberland stem.

Hmm @JimInks I wonder if it’s my tiny Bay Denmark, because this comes across very mild, but with extreme amounts of wonderful notes and complexity. I only gave it 5 minutes drying.

I could easily smoke this all day, and when I saw you said not an all day smoker, I was scratching my head. 🤔

Yours doesn’t come across very mild for a VaPer? hmm 🤔

Be well everyone! ❤️

It could be body chemistry tolerance or it could be the size bowl you smoke it in. As is my custom, when I was reviewing the blend, I smoked big bowls to capture everything I could find in the blend. That makes a difference.

Everybody's experience will vary. I can only state what mine is.

Michigan had a monsoon season two years ago. Parts of Detroit were literally underwater.

Hopefully, you damage wasn't too bad.

Why is the House Pipe difficult to clean? I'm getting ready to christen the one I purchased in winter.
It's mainly the curved stem that gives me trouble. It is my quickest to clog pipe. But I love being able to sit with it for an hour or more.
