We just returned from our cabin. A little yard clean up and a little fishing. A lot of relaxing and visiting. Plenty of smoking between Luxury Twist Flake, Northwoods, Briar Fox and Stirling Flake. Maybe drank a few Coors.... Enjoy your evening everyone!

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, chicken legs and snow peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. I'm half way through this bowl of year 2013 Dunhill Flake in a straight smooth 1960 Dunhill DR 137 group 4 root briar canted dublin with a tapered black vulcanite stem. It's still cold and rainy, and Daisy the Feral Princess snuck in the house when I went to feed her and Tomato the Brave. Guess she had enough of it, but she didn't have enough of the wet food on Sleepy Suzy's plate so she asked for more. Suzy wouldn't like that, but she's snoozin' on the coach, so I let Daisy eat her fill. Watching the Braves-Padres game, and getting ready to clean a few pipes.

A cup of dark roast coffee and briar fox in the meer.

Everyone tells me my dog is fat, and it wasn’t until this picture I realized it might be true. Also, I am often told this dog is so ugly it’s cute. I can see that too.

Off to mass in a bit, wishing everyone blessed Holy Saturday.

Hoping to get out there tomorrow. Got on top of some yesterday then some guys jumped me in the river. It sucked. Now, we're having a cold/rain front pass through the Great Smoky Mountains area. Tomorrow looks good though.
Hope the fishin was as good as the smokes.

Nearing the first third of this bowl of Sutliff Cringle Flake (Holiday Edition 2020) in a black straight, grain etched family era post WW2 Four Dot Sasieni “Appleby” apple with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink.

We did alright. Certainly didn't set the world on fire, but we caught some fish, dragging Pheasant Tails through the riffles. Our cabin sits above the Little Juniata River, which is a popular fly fishing destination. It sometimes resembles an amusement park during the big hatches, so I feel your pain about stream etiquette. It can feel a lot like "first day", especiallly on the weekends then. 😁 On the other hand, I grew up in that area, so I've got other places to go where it's rare to run into another guy. Good luck tomorrow and Happy Easter!

Glad to hear man. Stocking updates seem to fill the popular spots around here. I scurry into the thick of the mountains where my chances are less, but I'm much happier.
Happy Easter man, have a good rest of the weekend.
