Thank you, appreciated! Roughly four years. I've smoked cigars for years and ventured into pipes. Ordered various tins and blends and just kind of fell out of it, moved around a bit but didn't give anything up. Glad I didn't as most of what I post that I'm smoking has the same age. The Black House, Escudo and Old Joe Krantz have all been quite tasty!
Awesome! I ask because I have a tin of Escudo that's nearly 4 years old. I got it on the promise that it was a classic blend that everyone should try, but knew that it could be even better with age. It's on my shortlist of "aged tins to try soon".

Same! And because it's a VaPer was a little leary to jump in but I do really enjoy it. I also had some plumcake and Peterson's St Patrick's day that I was enjoying... and then I tried the 3 I mentioned and for me it's no comparison. Plumcake and St Patrick's have their place but I prefer the others. I tend to like bold, savory in your face type of flavors. Usually gravitate towards IPAs, whiskey neat and steak with minimal seasoning. Worked in coffee for a bit, had to do regular tastings of the blends which just influenced my palate even more.

Quick morning smoke with a bowl of Abingdon in an Eric Paulson Devil Anse, along with a cup of hot black tea (Lahaha Royal Black, if anyone is interested) before settling down to the day's work.

Something about an English blend and black tea just clicks for me, kinda like a triple espresso and unfiltered Gauloises Caporal did for me back in the days of living more dangerously. :)

Cheers to all and happy wednesday.

I kill for a Gauloises or Gitanes right now, are they still available in the US? I can’t find them anywhere over here.

Don't know about the Gitanes, but I haven't seen the unfiltered Gauloises anywhere for a LONG time. Last time I saw them was in Prague about ten years ago, and I had to buy a pack for old time's sake.

Admittedly, I haven't been looking, though ... I was never a frequent cigarette smoker, and some things (as my wife frequently and rightly reminds me) are better left in the past. :)
