It’s a beautiful night on the pier and I’m watching my line while enjoying a wonderful cigar; a 58-ring Plasencia Alma Fuerte Generacion V. I’m grateful this pier still allows smoking, yet it is a reflection of a business that knows it’s customer base.

Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and smoked a bowl of Wilke Lizzie Blood Virginia in a straight black with burgundy undertone sandblasted early 1960s Lane era Charatan 420 billiard with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink.

Now smoking D&R Penhooker in a straight smooth light brown circa post-1932-40s Linkman’s Dr. Grabow billiard with a square shank and tapered black vulcanite stem. Off to work now.

Good morning. Let's start with the second pipe of the morning. C&D: Yorktown, in a Calabash Stanwell. And a mug black coffee. We have a few days of wind and rain, lower temperatures. It is much appreciated, before the summer arrives and its hot days. Today I have an afternoon shift at work. Then a few days off, so I can enjoy a quiet and relaxed smoking. Almost half way through this bowl of D&R Raccoon’s Accent in a pre-WWII straight smooth brown The Lumberman Special (Comoy’s) with a tapered black vulcanite saddle stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Close to finishing this bowl of Wilke No. 72 in a pre-1974 dark brown straight Larus & Brother Co. Signature billiard with a nickel band and a tapered black vulcanite stem with the initials LCR on the top of the stem. This blend was smoked by Walter Cronkite.

Close to finishing this bowl of Watch City Original Crumb Cut in a 1950s-60s straight smooth brown Bertram 07 octagonal paneled billiard with a square shank and a tapered black vulcanite stem. Just finished work, and it's time to feed Suzy and Molly, and however many ferals are outside.

A third of the way through my last smoke of the day, which is D&R Windsail in a 2018 full bend smooth Peterson Sherlock Holmes Lestrade with a silver band and a black vulcanite saddle p-lip stem. Didn't smoke this blend in my Sasieni Canadian while working tonight, so it gave me a chance to smoke this wonderful pipe.
