Speaking about not remembering ... reminds me of that old joke
"A sixty-four-year-old man is sitting on a park bench, sobbing, when a young man walks by and asks him what's wrong. Through his tears the old man answers, "I'm in love with a twenty-two-year-old woman." "What's wrong with that?" asks the young man. Between his sobs and sniffles, he answers, "You don't understand, every morning before she goes to work, we make love. At lunchtime she comes home and we make love again, and then she makes my favorite meal. In the afternoon when she gets a break, she rushes home and gives me oral sex, the best an old man could want. And then at suppertime, and all night long, we make love." He breaks down, no longer able to speak. The young man puts his arm around him. "I don't understand. It sounds like you have the perfect relationship. Why are you sitting here on this park bench crying?" The senile old man answers, again through his tears, "I forgot where I live."
I think that one is from the late, great Ronnie Corbett, told from his tatty striped chair, one of the the best raconteurs ever imo.

I missed out on a beautiful 1904 Allan & Wright cased twinset last night on eBay, they would have been mine if I hadn’t lost my phone signal in the last five seconds of bidding. I was quite devastated actually, they were that nice.

Anyway no use crying over it, I’ll just curse whoever brought them under my breath all day.

I’m consoling myself with Morley’s Best in a MM Marcus and some SG Springtime on deck in the lizard skin Longchamp. image.jpg

Haha i thought the same thing when I first heard his age. I was like did they mean 35? Playing some amazing golf right now. Well, except his last few putts anyway ?

If you told me he was 35/36, I wouldn't would you at all.

Here's the thing, how many people get to say they won the Masters? Now, how many get to say they 4-putted on 18 and still won the Masters? A subtle flex for the history books! (Or more likely, an answer for a tricky trivia question in the future).

Rory's charge to 2nd was something to witness too. It's a shame he so rarely puts 4 days together.

KBV River of Deceit, a pinch of '15 Shortcut to Mushrooms, and a dash of '12 Penzance (I might be onto something here...) in this Doctor's bamboozled brandy to start my week:

Close to finishing this bowl of year 2015 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style.
