Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and have about a third of a bowl left of aged Rattrays Hal O’ The Wynd in a straight smooth brown pre-1952 (Comoy’s) Corinthian De-Luxe 126 pot made for Sutliff in San Francisco with a black tapered vulcanite stem. Lavazza Espresso, neat, is my drink.

Well I had a disappointing lunch at what was supposedly a very good deli and a lackluster visit to what was probably once a very nice pipe & tobacco shop. (Mostly bongs, hookahs & cigars and very high, unknowledgeable staff with about two dozen cheap Chinese pipes & visibly old "house blends" only.)

Thank goodness I'm able to enjoy a trusty Peterson 107 billiard and C&D Haunted Bookshop on the drive home.

Sutliff Field and Stream Match in a MM hardwood straight maple billiard, a good old blend in what might be the best five dollar pipe in he world. The pipe looks like Danish modern furniture to me. The blend is what you like to think an earlier time should have been.
