Just finished smoking year 2015 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style.
Off for a set of walking reps before the storm comes in. Smoking year 2016 D&R Three Sails in an undated straight brush etched black Molina apple with a nickel band and a black tapered vulcanite stem.
Going to have Watch City Rouxgaroux (just arrived) in a Comoy's Sandblast Bulldog 409 (small cap C with apostrophe, sans serif). I never had this blend before and have been looking forward to it.
Early afternoon small bowl of Lane RLP-6 I found in an old box of Lane samples. OK. But in my retiree's boredom decided for my next pipe to be creative and mix C&D Chenet's Cake with Wilke Peanut Butter with the hope the latter could tame the former AND not end up as an unsmokable bowl (sour socks & pb?). Greatness only comes through failed attempts etc.; or not. Will post results.
Just finished smoking KBV Festivus Pudding in a 1978 Peterson Deluxe 20S medium bend smooth dark brown billiard with a silver cap military mount black vulcanite saddle p-lip stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
