Not far from finishing this bowl of Wilke Long Island Sound in a dark brown smooth straight post-WW2 LHS Certified Purex 79 bulldog with a nickel ferrule and tenon with a black vulcanite saddle stem.
Meistermischung Nr. 88 in an Altinay.
Half way through this bowl of Wilke No. 72 in a pre-1974 dark brown straight Larus & Brother Co. Signature billiard with a nickel band and a tapered black vulcanite stem with the initials LCR on the top of the stem. This blend was smoked by Walter Cronkite. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
I can’t remember the last time I managed to sneak out for an evening smoke. So I brought out the big guns for the occasion. Mick Mcquaid plug in an 1897 Charles Maas Meer. Hot water and lemon on the side, not cold enough to bother wearing shoes or to need @anotherbob nanas’ muffs
For my morning drive, Solani Silver in my Graziano Tendi Dublin.
Just finished work, and this bowl of Wilke Peanut Butter in a 1980s black sandblasted slight bend Savory’s Argyll 281 Cherrywood with a tapered black vulcanite stem.
Last smoke of the day is Wilke No. 515 in a smooth dark medium bend 2021 Peterson Heritage Brown POTY 4AB No. 45/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. This was the blend Basil Rathbone smoked. Reading while this bowl lasts.

Good morning. We continue smoking with the third pipe of the morning. dt: Ascanian 2, in a MM Charles Towne Cobbler, and a mug black coffee. Cold and rainy day. The tomentas have eaten the beaches, kilometers of beach have disappeared. Last night it was windy as hell. I have never seen such violent storms. 51,8 ºF......................
