Well, Covid finally caught me. I take some satisfaction that I was able to avoid it this long. Also that it took a variant nicknamed “stealth Omicron” to do the job. Mostly, I’ve been wrestling with a deep cough.
Bored of my room, I’m taking these two smokes to the back porch - a couple of Radice Rinds with Chelsea Morning and De Luxe Navy Rolls.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, wild caught catfish and green beans dinner with a small scoop of vanilla bean ice cream for dessert. I'm almost a third of the way through this bowl of year 2018 Esoterica Dunbar in a smooth straight, dark brown early 1960s Lane era Charatan Selected 43 Dublin with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
Some Cascadia plug in an older rusticated Savinelli Porto Cervo. I like the flavor of the Vertical Limit, but it is not an easy tobacco to rub out.

Half way through this bowl of year 2016 Stonehaven in a straight black sandblasted 1957 Barling Exel 249 Fossil T.V.F. black billiard with a silver banded military mount and a black ebonite tapered stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink.
Enjoyed a tasty jazz apple, and am a third of the way through this bowl of Wilke No. 24 in a smooth straight brown 1949 Yello-Bole Century Model Lovat with a nickel band accent on the black vulcanite saddle stem. Going to work now.
A quarter of the way through this bowl of D&R Penhooker in a straight brown sandblasted post-WWII family era Sasieni “Canadian” London Made with a sterling silver band with a tapered black vulcanite twin bore stem. Listening to Fred Allen as I work.
I like it! I sipped my way through the bowl...it was great.
Right now I'm halfway through a bowl of Sutliff CC that's been drying on the tray since lunch today. Smoking it in the recently purchased Chancellor lovat little big man rig. It's pleasant for sure.
