Another rainy afternoon, so outdoor work projects are canceled. Decided to have another smoke in one of grandpa Mac’s pipes. A KW Relief Meerschaum Bulldog, 12B packed with GLP Windjammer.

A third of the way through this bowl of Wilke No. 515 in a smooth dark medium bend 2021 Peterson Heritage Brown POTY 4AB No. 45/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. This was the blend Basil Rathbone smoked. This should get me to dinner time. Watching the Braves-Cubs game.

A lovely bowl of St Bruno RR in a Peterson Irish Made Army 406. Earlier I watched a short documentary about a family of Fermanagh quarrymen filmed in the early 1960s who made whetstones for sharpening scythes. One of the brothers was smoking a 406 and I couldn't resist loading up and wallowing in nostalgia. Some Kirkland Irish seemed just the thing to go with my smoke.
