Wow! Just amazing to me how drivers "don't see" cyclists. Heard that so many times. I crashed on my bike in Albuquerque too. My front wheel hit something, tire blew, wheel taco ed, and I don't remember anything else, till I woke up in the ambulance. My helmet was broken, but saved my life. Had a broken collarbone and a concussion. But I too lived to tell the tale.

Wow! We were both very lucky, or unlucky, depending on how you look at it. Glad to be out of Albuquerque, bad vibes there.
