Enjoyed a tasty cinnamon raisin French toast lunch with orange slices on the side. I'm close to finishing the last of my stash of KBV Festivus Pudding in a 1978 Peterson Deluxe 20S medium bend smooth dark brown billiard with a silver cap military mount black vulcanite saddle p-lip stem. Dunno what blend I will smoke in this pipe next, but I'll figure it out some time. Gold Star Kona Extra Fancy coffee, neat, is my drink. Getting ready to check out the new-to-me estate pipes I just got in the mail.

Good day all! Day five of Covid quarantine has arrived with no diminished taste buds so started by finishing off yesterday's medicinal bowl of Carter Hall in a Nachwalter Freehand and moved quickly to the much longed-for bowl of Elizabethan Mixture in a Tilshead smooth Billiard with saddle stem. Wonderful stuff, this pipe smoking!

“What’s that jar in the back corner of the shelf?” I asked myself.

It was a jar of C&D After Hours Flake from 2012 that I haven’t touched in at least 5 years and had forgotten about. Smoking now in a Savinelli billiard. Smooth, sweet, and rich with a nice tingle in the retrohale. It still has some oomph

Now smoking year 2012 Rolando’s Own in a smooth straight early ‘60s Lane era “William Conrad” Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. The rain stopped, but the roads are cold and slick, so no walking today. Been busy photographing the thirteen estate pipes I got today: two patent Dunhills, four old Comoy's, a Peterson meer, etc.

I'm sorry to hear that my friend. Yes, the races are great to watch. I used to ride a lot, but was never a racer. Just a fun cyclist.
Thanks Carol. Better a broken arm then the alternative. As I was flying through the air I thought, so this is how it ends. When I landed and opened my eyes, one at a time, I actually chuckled because I was still alive. LOL

Wow! Incredible! Glad too that you made it. May I ask where you were riding when this happened?
It was on Paseo Del Norte on the Westside of Albuquerque. Was going through a light and a teenager was turning from the opposite direction and didn't see me. He clipped me just behind my legs and sent me airborne. Broke the arm when I hit the ground. Must have put it out to break my fall. Should have tucked and rolled. LOL
