Good weekend, pipes and health to all! Covid'd. Quarantined. Now sitting up, and anxious for the first pipe since Wednesday. Feeble attempt to see if my already challenged taste buds are further Covid-impaired (on the bright side, "any further" means I then can save much money on tobacco and pipes by only smoking lawn clippings etc. in basket pipes/cobs). Trying the soothing Carter Hall in a large Nachwalter smooth Freehand.
@JimK I feel your pain mate, wishing a full and speedy recovery ?

Did a set of walking reps, and smoked a bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in an undated straight brush etched black Molina apple with a nickel band and a black tapered vulcanite stem. Then, since this is an off-diet day, I decided to eat a Jethro Bodine-sized bowl of Raisin Bran with more raisins thrown in for good measure. Had a tasty, big golden delicious apple, and a super rich oatmeal raisin cookie, too.

Vegas Baby!!!
Half-bowl of Rattray Jocks Mixture drying on a paper towel. Next destination: the KS chamber of my Savinelli Miele 611 bent dublin. For all the people* wondering why I did not give a bird report last time, it's because there was almost nothing and I was too lazy. So sue me. ;) Bird report: Common raven, California scrub-jay, House finch, Chipping sparrow, White-crowned sparrow, California towhee, and California quail. Happy smokes!

* The actual number is probably close to zero, fortunately.
You’ll be hearing from my fake lawyer re: your fake bird report. Some people.

Glad to hear you're on the mend.

Just passing the quarter mark on this bowl of year 2014 Sutliff 1849 in a medium bend smooth dark brown 1968 Barling 5631 London England TVF billiard silver spigot with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Time for special zoom meeting to discuss the annual Bill Finger Award. For those of you who don't know who Bill Finger was (the unsung co-creator of Batman) and the importance of the award, check out this site: Bill Finger Award

I'm enjoying it, @lyon0op - it has a woodsy flavor with a bit of tang that I can taste as well.

I've only pulled small chunks at a time for each bowl so far, and then rubbed it out. No drying time yet - it seems fine from the tin.

I'm on my 3rd bowl of the day - clay, cob, and now briar (a little nose warmer from Rattray's) - just trying different things so far
Fantastic, thanks for the update ? puffy
