Trying to come to terms with saying good bye to my best friend of 13 years tomorrow: Our Husky mix, Moonshine. It’s been a good run buddy boy. 15 years old is p good, I suppose.
smoking some 2006 McConnell Special London from a Chacom Havane with hand cut brindle stem I picked up at Jerri’s in Denver. It’s gone now, too.

Sorry to hear the sad news. I surely know how it feels. Best wishes, buddy.

April saw some mistakes made. I bought Captain Black thinking it was Sail, and I bought an Amphora Cavendish SR not knowing I had already bought a Cavendish. So it was a steamy start!

But I snagged a recovery!

Best Brown Flake, Pete's Signature Flake, and some ODF. Then I wet the bed again buying a Burley blend that I thought was ready rubbed but it turned out to be cross cut.

I might take the plunge and order a tiny tin of tobacco from smokingpipes to see if the Postal Gods hate me or not, but I'm not sure. My luck has been good lately and I don't want to push it.

Sorry to hear of your loss Brobs, our dogs are family members and it cuts deep when they have to leave. I’ll raise a bowl just now for Moonshine.

For a little change of pace, Mac Baren Mixture (Scottish Blend) in an MM Diplomat. I don't smoke a lot of Mixture, but I always keep some in rotation - ideally, an aged batch. This jar of bulk had about two years on it when I cracked it - just enough to mellow it out a tad.
