A quarter of the way through this bowl of D&R Ryback in a smooth straight late 1970s Charatan Special 4148DC Reg. No. 203573 pot with a black double comfort vulcanite stem. The day is so nice, I'm going walking again.

What is this blend? I guess it is C&D Tuggle Hall in a Jerry Perry smooth bent billiard with orange stain and stem. I packed this last night, thinking about something else. That's my best guess. This is the pipe I smoked at Nat Sherman pipe shop in Manhattan where I was introduced to Nat Sherman 536, available in bulk at the shop, a refined English blend with burley. As most will recall, Nat Sherman closed last year.
I’m now trying another sample (thank you @marconi) of HU Directors Cut in my little Yello Bole. My palate is really on the ball today, I'm getting so much out of my bowls and this one is no exception. I have several others to try this evening, this is better than my birthday.
