I had not heard of that charge on him. Just looked that up. He will be deleted from my play list Just like Jerry Lee and many others.

I really think of the Gibson Brothers (Leigh and Eric) as seminal figures in modern bluegrass. They are a traditional bluegrass group that somehow become very popular with young fans. Their recordings of "Ring the Bell" and "They Call it Music" lead them to back-to-back winners of the IBMA Entertainers of the Year award.

one of the best shows I saw was Sonny Rollins. Honestly it didn't feel like a show at all. It felt like a group of musicians playing and saying sure you guys can watch but try and not get in our way or distract us.
not 100 percent sure I am following here. It could be because I really hope what it sounds like is just wrong and not factual.
Reminds me that sometimes you can't separate the art from the artist. As in sorry it's hard to enjoy a song if I know the person singing it was doing something revolting and soul tearing while making the neat little song.
Lately, I've been taken with the Italian guitar quartet 40 Fingers. Here they are performing Sultans of Swing. Enjoy!
David Allen Coe, Hank Williams Jr, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, and Johnny Paycheck transformed from the short haired, straight laced, rhinestone Nudie suit mainstream Nashville persona into outlaw singers, and I think wore their hair long and grew beards and looked so greasy to sell records.

Just picked up Gilmour’s Luck and Stange LP, which is very good. Been a fan of Pink Floyd and Gilmour my whole life, so I’m bias.

Yeah, i'm glad they've finally got back together. The demand for the tickets has been insane. The prices have been insane as well. They're gonna make some big money from this tour.
This has to be one of the best renditions of this song I've heard. Nina Simone was great, but this 9 (nine!) year old girl from Norway is almost unbelievable. A very low range and adult voice. Simply amazing!! She has other videos of some older songs like this. I think she's 18 now and still going strong. (Amy Winehouse, Whitney Houston, Gershwin etc.)

Got it just for Big Yellow Taxi. Not exactly Joni Mitchell, but they have potential. Been around long enough.
Anyone remember Boz Scaggs? If you want a record to show off your stereo system this would be a great one to do that. Really well recorded and BASS for days! It's from 2021 but his music and voice still hold up well with an interesting variety of styles. I found this while watching some videos about hight end speakers, (sorry Wilson Audio, never gonna happen), and was very surprised as I had completely forgotten about Boz. I ordered this and am not disappointed at all.
