There are a few candidates to pick from.
It must be very sad, and serious, and involve Mama and heartache, and preferably sang by a certified blue eye shadow and painted lipped honky tonk angel that’s seen happier days.
It’s really hard, to get more acid country than Merle Haggard’s third wife Leona Williams singing a song she wrote,
