I'm listening to "City Lights" by Bill Anderson who had many a hit in the 60's and beyond. Songs like "Still", "Po' Folks", and "Wild Weekend" were just a few of the songs he did. Songs he wrote for other artists include "Saginaw, Michigan", "Slippin' Away", "I Don't Love You Anymore", and "Once a Day". He was elected to the Country Hall of Fame in 2001 and the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2018. He's famously known as "Whisperin" Bill. He was born in 1937 and is still with us.

There are two or three bands that I've listened to quite a bit online, and I finally decided to pull the trigger on one to get free shipping on some longjohn pajamas.
Back to New Order. I like 80s, 90s bands. Not sure why. It was fun going to dancing at clubs after getting butt drunk. Of course, good chance getting kicked out. But had to try.
At times I wonder about myself but how have I overlooked Jackie Wilson also known as "Mr. Excitement"!! His fabulous recordings of "Lonely Teardrop" and "(Your Love Keeps Lifting Me) Higher and Higher" could really get a crowd rocking. This amazing voice was stilled forever when he suffered a major stroke in 1975. He spent his last eight years in a coma. He died at age 49.
