Glad you feel that way, since grunge all but killed hair metal. lolI was driving on a long trip when I tuned in a station out in the middle of nowhere that was playing Lithium. The album had just come out. I remember saying out loud to nobody, “Fuck yeah, guitar is back”. I was so tired of hair metal by that point.
Now playing Nirvana - Nevermind.
Ah yes, the album that made Rick Wakeman quit (the first time). Enter Patrick Moraz, for Relayer...I am currently listening to one of my favorite Yes albums, Tales From Topographic Oceans.
It was made in 1973 and is a double album. The double album has only 4 songs on it. Each song is over 20 minutes each. Three of the songs are great, there is one dog. The first 2 songs are great, the third is to weird but the 4th called the Ritual is my favorite. I saw them live in Boston Garden when they were touring for this album. The light show was impressive especially for 1973.
This is great! Thanks for this. Never heard of it and it's good!Tim Buckley - Once I Was, from Goodbye and Hello (1967).
