I remember this song from my youth............. The Coven version is the one I remember, and probably more popular, but I prefer the original version, by "The Original Caste".................
There's a lesson or two to be learned here, if one takes the time to listen, and learn............ puffy

Welcome to September!
"September Song" by Frank Sinatra is, for me, the finest version of this Maxwell Anderson, Kurt Weill masterpiece. It's from one of my "desert island discs" Point Of No Return.

One of my very favorite songs as well. Bing had a nice version on his very last album and Willie Nelson's version is also great. September has a number of great songs including September in the Rain (Dinah Washington knocked it out of the park) and Try to Remember fro the musical The Fantastiks is another.

I'll set aside my love of traditional bluegrass and country music and my every so often relistening of Wagner's four opera masterpiece "The Ring Cycle" beginning with "Das Rheingold". Glorious music
