I stumbled upon this guy whilst researching John McLaughlin and took a punt on this CD.
Though it's called 'Slide Guitar Ragas' I don't think there is any actual guitar played here (please tell me if I'm wrong). It all sounds like sitar to me though matey is apparently well known for inventing & building his own stringed instruments.
Whatever, it's a very different style of music from what I'm used to but still very pleasant & enjoyable, especially so when the congas (?) kick in for added beat.
