If you like funky jazz I’d recommend you check out Herbie Hancock’s Headhunter albumMy journey into jazz eventually led me to Miles Davis, and that naturally led me onto his 'electric' period and I believe the first album in that regard was 'In A Silent Way', one of the few albums that I played twice over on its first listening.....awesome stuff.

This led to his full on funky jazz which introduced me to the likes of Herbie Hancock, Billy Cobham, John McLaughlin and I've been delving into their albums too......watch this space!

Check out Weather Report, Bitches Brew is great but the jams mostly just fizzle out.
