I really like Lefty Frizell before he drank himself to death. You have to love his "Saginaw, Michigan". The album also has the "The Long Black Veil".

I went to the Neptune open mic night last night; a great night out with good company & good beer!
Took one of the regulars a copy of my drawing of the pub & he bought me a pint for it. Got another for performing on stage as well!

I've been on a bit of a music buying trip again and last night I played Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here on SACD.

Though multichannel I played it through just the two channels and it was just beautiful. So much I heard that I never heard/noticed on the Red Book version so well worth the outlay......9/10.

An epic show I was at in 1979, poured down rain, but the band played on
Had a cassette of the soundboard and relived it often, anyway excellent Shakedown as encore (wandered right up to the stage)and unbelievable PHIL bombs throughout show. So turn it up!!
