In an interview Bowie once said of Nirvana’s cover: “I was simply blown away when I found that Kurt Cobain liked my work, and have always wanted to talk to him about his reasons for covering ‘The Man Who Sold the World’” and that “it was a good straight forward rendition and sounded somehow very honest.”
He added: “It would have been nice to have worked with him, but just talking with him would have been real cool.”

Great album! I keep a digital version of it to listen to while driving.
Old Yardbirds post-Clapton cuts. Clapton left the group to join John Mayall, but not before recommending Jimmy Page as his replacement, who, in turn brought Jeff Beck into the group. A true litany of great rock guitarists.
Now its Days of Future Past, Moody Blues. Its an instrumental '60s kind of day.
Now playing The Police - Synchronicity.
