Here is an impromptu performance on the theme of "Williow Weep For Me" that he did when he was given the "Satchmo Award" last year.
I have now moved down to the Roger the Engineer album by the Yardbirds in which Jeff Beck introduces the western world to sitar-like guitar breaks. These were heavily drawn upon later by Harrison and the Beatles.

This is who taught me to play electric blues, and we were both taught by Galen Swift (for whom I don't have a pic). Galen went down to studio with Stax/Volt and Mike formed his own band. These days I play only acoustic in order to keep my fingers flexible, but it seems to be getting harder....
Wow! I found an old photo of Galen Swift (see previous post) from my boyhood high school days when we all hung out at the Vox Box music store in Marshall, MO.
