Nobody lives forever
Nothin' stands the test of time
You heard 'em say "never say never"
It's always best to keep it in mind
That every tower ever built tumbles
No matter how strong no matter how tall
Someday even great walls will crumble
And every idol ever raised falls

And someday even man's best laid plans
Will lie twisted and covered in rust
When we've done all that we can but it slipped through our hands
It's ashes to ashes and dust to dust

My friend, pipe master Alex Florov, posted this yesterday on his page, and it is so beautiful, I wanted to share.
Yo Yo Ma plays the Sarabande from Bach's Cello Suite No. 3, as part of his "Songs of Comfort" project to ease the tensions wrought by the coronavirus, and bring some solace.

HAHAHAHA! ????
As soon as you posted that I just HAD to listen to it! I've heard Shatner's famous/infamous take on The Beatles Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds but I never dreamed he'd do a version of Pulp's classic Common People.

I honestly don't know if that was one of the greatest things I've ever heard or the most terrible?. Probably the latter but it might fall into the category of it's so bad/weird it's good.

Arranged by the great Ben Folds as well. Thanks for the laugh mate?.

Genius?????
