One of Walsh's best of the classic years. A bit bizarre lyrically (probably from some altered state) but musically wonderful (especially beginning around the 3 min mark).

Here's the guy who made it a hit, Johnny Cash, performing "A Boy Named Sue" live at San Quentin Prison, in 1969, with Carl Perkins on guitar.
