Starting up our weekend with McCarthy's Oregon Single Malt Pot Distilled Whiskey made with Peat-Malted Scottish Barley. As I've mentioned before, I wouldn't have thought this was an American whisky based on taste. Decent stuff and interesting.
Since I'm having Quiet Nights in my Savinelli Series III 320 KS, I figured it's only fitting to have a wee dram of Lagavulin Single Malt Offerman Edition 11 Year finished in Guinness Casks.
Watching UFC and having a limited release Shock Top Twisted Pretzel. It really does taste like a pretzel. I've only come across it a couple times in the last several years and buy it when I see it.
Been pretty warm here today. So as the missus had me doing some grass cutting out at the countryside place I worked up quite a thirst. Soon as we got home I opened a cold beer. It's not very good but it's doing the job.
