My beers of this week

Chimay Blue Dark Strong Ale, people known with the Untappd app might know of the Century badge (100 checkins of the same beer), im working with this one to get it and drink #100 at the Chimay taproom in the south of Belgium.

Ale Farm Double New England IPA, experimental brewery which makes highly regarded IPA, this one was good but not really different from other NEIPA
Stigbergets x APEX barrel aged milk stout, smooth as a baby bottom at 13%
Hop Hooligans Double New England IPA, love the Prodigy reference
Amundsen pastry stout, very heavy on the coconut which I love
Sudden Death rye IPA, love the spicy backnote of it
Tartarus pastry stout, another banger with vanilla and coffee notes

Having Other Half Brewing Snowbirds Imperial Stout, brewed in collaboration with J. Wakefield, 14.4% from 2019—aged in Willett Bourbon barrels for one year and conditioned on excessive amounts of marcona almonds, Raaka cacao nibs, and macaroon cut coconut. Think Almond Joy on steroids.

What I had from Other Half is really, really, really good. Normally the other styles than IPA do not get to market here, but the IPA stuff I had from them was magnificent if you like IPA.
