I have the sniffles, my son has a full blown cold, so I spent twenty bucks on a bottle of genuine bottled in bond 100 proof Evan Williams.

One of services the gubbermint does, is make sure bonded bourbon isn’t watered or cut or blended or doctored up with flavorings.

And bottled in bond, tastes a lot better than NyQuil.

It's been the better part of a year, at least, since I've mixed a Jack Rose. Which is odd, because it's my favorite cocktail.

Back in the 40s (iirc), a New York tax accountant wrote a book on cocktails, and said that there were six drinks everyone should know: Martini, Manhattan, Old-Fashioned, Daiquiri, Side Car, and Jack Rose.

1 part grenadine
2 part lime juice
3 part calvados

I am not disappointed, 'tis as good as I remembered.

Just picked this up…not what to do with it,

I'll assume you haven't killed your absinthe yet and recommend what I usually do:
Set an ounce or so in a tall glass full of ice cubes, and drink it over the course of an hour or three as the ice melts. No sugar, no nothin'.
