I’m not drinking today, but yesterday I had a couple pours of Alberta Premium Cask Strength Rye aka Nectar of the Gods, while we binge watched The Terminal List (playing on Amazon). This show grabbed my attention from the first minute and never let go. We made it to the start of the last episode and the wife declared it was bedtime.…..and now she has to attend a work dinner this evening. Damn……I may have that drink after all.

A misplaced "mistake" distillation 3 barrel rum from a small local distillery. Pretty good, very limited.

Son of a Peat, the Redeemer, Blended Malt Scotch Whisky, Cask Strength, Batch 3 Limited Edition (53.8%) from Flaviar. Susan doesn’t think it comes across as cask strength, which makes sense given its proof.

Hi The Amish friend. Yes, well. It's a homemade hamburger, with beef. It has a little tomato jam on it, to give it a slightly sweet taste. The hamburger bread is whole wheat, what a great invention ?.

The wife and kids went to see grandma and grandpa on the farm for a few days, so I’m a bachelor for the weekend. I’m not much of a drinker (I’ve got absolutely nothing against it, just not really my thing), but I decided to grab a sixer. Haven’t had a beer since the Fourth. Blaring some Luke Combs and having a smoke in the garage. It’s just Coors Light, but for a light-weight like me, this is quite the party! Happy weekend all!!

Am typically a cabernet sauvignon drinker 6 nights out of 7, but on the seventh I rest with scotch. Cannot afford single malts but have found a blended that's become my favorite recently and indulged in tonight, Grant's Family Reserve. It has a decent peatiness to it.
