After a road trip today to look at another lot for a cabin, I'm now relaxing in a hotel room with a glass of heaven. AKA 1974 Chateau de Pomes Peberere Armagnac:

Another new beer that I tried for the first time, I think, or not. German. I didn't get the fill right to raise the foam properly. Not bad, I've tried better. I drank it during lunch. Baked chicken with potato garnish and assorted roasted vegetables.

So I've found out that the blue raspberry Icee freezes go well with Kraken rum.

A fellow forum member got me thinking about this beverage so I broke it out tonight, it's one of my favorites. On the nose, orange rind, cinnamon spice and honey. The first sip is a bit hotter than you might think for a wheated bourbon but after that it's damn fine, one of my favorites and this is the only bottle I've gotten my hands on.

Susan and I celebrated 5 years together on August 11th. Today, the 13th is her birthday. We’re kicking things off with one of my presents to her, Kilchoman 2021 Limited Edition 11th 100% Islay Edition. It was distilled from their 2007, 2009, 2010, and 2011 barley harvests before being matured for a minimum of 9 years in 26 bourbon barrels and 7 oloroso sherry butts.

The only bottled tea that doesn't have that weird metallic bitter taste and mouthfeel.
I buy the gallon jugs of regular and sweetened and mixed them into the smaller plastic bottle.
