Something with a punch. I do my own blending so usually that will contain a fair amount of Kentucky and possibly perique.

Never thought about it until I read this, but I think I reach for Irish Flake most often when I’m feeling pretty frazzled. Or Bayou Nights. I’m seeing a nicotine trend ?
I wish I could go back and edit this post. I opened a new tin of Irish Flake the other day, and it is not the same Irish Flake I had been smoking. I’m convinced they changed it. Bayou Night is a nice stout blend though.

In the semi-rural NorthEastern USA
depends on how much I want to focus. If I want to focus a more complex trickier blend will be the choice if I just want to smoke and forget it then a simple easy handling blend will do. So if I had to pick it would be one of the mild english blends since I've noticed they're complex enough to dote over yet easy handling enough to forget about if you just want to smoke.
