Had this at a bistro in Arles
La patronne was going around enquiring if everyone enjoyed their dinner when a very English voice behind us replied “Yes, once I got over my surprise that I wasn‘t getting a courgette !”
I got to take a decently long lunch break today and I live less than 5 minutes from my office.
So I pan fried some deer backstrap today. Didn't take any pics. It was amazing as always.
Banh mi "salad" with smoked pork loin and homemade pickled vegetables that were drizzled in Sriracha and covered with crushed "everything topping" cashews and fresh cilantro.
We got in from Kentucky this morning beat and after a well needed nap, my wife made Brunswick Stew, Cornbread and fried up some green tomatoes. Life is good.
Just bought lunch/dinner for my parents at a Chinese buffet, they enjoyed it....very filling but I am now kinda hungry....just happy to spend some time with them
