Let me ask a serious question:
Why do the government bodies involved see the need to continue with warning labels? AND do they really think making them bigger conveys a stronger message?
Let’s be honest - I was born in the 80s and I know since before I was in middle school that smoking or using tobacco can cause serious health problems and/or kill you.
I still made the adult decision to smoke and also enjoy alcohol.
No warning label is going to persuade me to quit doing what I enjoy.
Maybe they think it removes the “allure” that packaging may cause but I don’t know any adult regardless of age that thinks smoking is healthy. Just seems like a bunch of big brother BS so they can pay themselves on the back thinking they’re achieving something. I don’t know - it is just so stupid to me.
